Searchers continue Day and Night Hunt, but Without Results - Hat and Gloves
Found.
Baxter Springs, Kan. June 10 -
Searchers working all day failed to locate the body of Hubert E. BURNETT,
an employe of the Empire District Electric Company, who drowned at the Riverton

which could not be covered while the water was high, but no trace of the
body ws found. Burnett's hat and gloves were found a short distance from
where he fell into the river Saturday afternoon.
The river was going up tonight as the water began to flow over the dam.
During the day the search was made from the dam at Riverton to the East
Tyelfth(sic) street bridge here. Spotlights have been erected at the East
Twelfth street bridge here. The bridge of the Southwest Missouri Railroad
