Mrs. Harrison was born May 9, 1899 in OK. to W.F. and Frances Bevels MCCORMICK. She married P. H. HARRISON in Corpus Christi, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by a son and 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Irene Blanche RESSER GRIFFIN died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999 in Sherman, TX. She was born Dec. 14, 1929 in Okmogee(sic),Okmulgee Co., OK to Jack and Freda ABLG RESSER. She married Gene GRIFFIN in 1965.
Mrs. GRIFFIN was preceded in death by her parents and husband in March 1994.
She is survived by 3 sons and one brother, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson,TX Thursday Jan. 21, 1999 with Rev. Harold WATSON officiating.

QUATACKER

Graveside services for Betty Jo QUATACKER, 69 of Whitesboro, Grayson, TX are set for 2p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999 at Dixie Cemetery in Grayson Co. with the Rev. Harold WATSON officiating.
Mrs. Quatacker was born August 22, 1929 in Duncan, Stephens Co., OK to Dude and Emma Jewel SPROUSE BURKLEO. She married Fred QUATACKER in Bellflower, CA in 1947.
Mrs.Quatacker died Monday, Jan. 18,1999 at her residence.
Mrs. Quatacker was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on June 10, 1987.
She is survived by her son, sister, 3 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

BOMAR
Carter Co., OK

Ann BOMAR died Monday, January 18, 1999 in Gainesville, Cooke, TX. She was born Dec. 18, 1908 in Newport, Carter Co., OK. to Bill and Nancy Elizabeth COPELAND TEMPLE.
On Oct. 25, 1924, she married J. D. BOMAR in Gainesville, TX.
Mrs. BOMAR was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, THE Rev. Bill COLLINS. She is survived by 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Internment will be Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville under direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home in Gainesville.

Mrs. CHISUM died January 25, 1999 Montague, TX.
She was born Feb. 1, 1908 in Leon, Love Co., Oklahoma to Clint and Myrtle CAGLE.  Mrs. CHISUM is survived by Vicki & Tori EMBRY of Marietta, Oklahoma, grandchildren and a great grandchild and a great greatgrandchild of Lubbock, TX.

Mr. DAVIS was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Marietta, Love Co., OK to Norton and Maggie Lee BONE DAVIS.
Mr. Davis died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999 at his residence. He married the former Doris"Dot" BARNES. Mr. DAVIS was a veteran of the US Army, retired from Burlington-Northern Railroad. Member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, one daughter, 2 brothers and sisters, 6 grandchildren.

Services for Ellen HARDING, 91, of Gainesville, Cooke, TX are set for February 5 at Clement-Kell Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville.
Mrs. HARDING died Wednesday. She was  born June 28, 1907 in Maud, Seminole Co., OK to Rumles and Elizabeth ELDRIDGE MACON.
She was married to William Jackson HARDING in 1930. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. HARDING is survived by brothers Earl MACON of Spencer, OK. and Joe MACON of Austin and several nieces and nephews.

, 91, of Denton TX died Thursday.
Mr. SANDERS was born March 26, 1907 in Atoka Co., OK to Thomas Patrick SANDERS and Loney Eva USSERY SANDERS. He married Nona Edna HOUCHIN July 1, 1928 in Myers Chapel in Atoka County, OK.
He was a member of the Lane Baptist Church, Lane, OK.
Services will be Saturday in the chapel of Browns' Funeral Home in Atoka, OK. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, east of Atoka.
Pallbearers will be Johnny FAULKENBERRY, Ron DODSON, Arthur CREWS, R. V. GOODSON, Jack SHEFFIELD and Curtis BELCHER.
Mr. SANDERS is survived by his wife, daughter Wanda WALL of Atoka, son Don SANDERS of Denton; brother Thomas B. SANDERS of Clayton, OK. 7 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren.

Beulah BURKHART ALAGOOD, 95, died Wednesday. Interment will be at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Thackerville, Love Co., OK.
Mrs. ALAGOOD was born Sept 15, 1903 in Bomar, Love Co., OK to Eunice Ira and Ellie GORDON BURKHART.
She lived all her life in Marietta. She married Oscar Milas ALAGOOD in Tishomingo 1930.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, 3 brothers, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; son Oscar Laverne ALAGOOD; brothers S. B., Todd, E. C. "Grandpappy" and R. W. "Wheat" BURKHART and sisters, Mary BURKHART WHITE and Mahora BURKHART.

Mr. WEBB was born Dec. 19, 1926 in Duncan, Stephens, OK.

Orman "Preacher"HUTSON died February 22, 1999 in Terral, OK. Services are set for Feb. 24, 1999 at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Terral Cemetery under the direction of Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home of Terral.
Mr. Hudson was born May 1, 1901 in Velma, Stephens Co., OK to James Robert and Jennie Inez HUTSON. In 1968 he married Thelma GOTT in Borger, TX. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church of Terral.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wesley Lee POUNDS
died Feb. 24, 1999 in Muenster, Cooke, TX. Services Feb. 26, 1999 at the Missionary Baptist Church in St. JO, Montague, TX. Graveside service will be at the Carter Cemetery, Carter Co., OK.
Mr. POUNDS was born Nov. 28, 1930 in Carter, OK to James R. and Hattie Mae KING POUNDS. He married Billie June LYMAN in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1971. Mr. POUNDS was a veteran of the US Coast Guard during WWII.
He belonged both the Masons and B.P.O.Elks. He was awarded the President's Medal for saving lives of humans in 1951 in Perryton.
Survivors include his wife, daughter, 3 sons, 6 grandchildren and a sister.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, brothers, George, Jim, Berry and Joe

Wesley Wade PAWLESS, 41, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999 in Gainesville, Cooke, TX. Graveside services will be held March 1 at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. PAWLESS was born March 30, 1957 in to Glydell L. and Louise DRUMGOOLE PAWLESS. He married Kimberlee S. HOLDER in 1992.Tulsa,  Tulsa Co., OK.

Mr. PARSONS was born in Thackerville, Marshall Co.OK. He was the founder and director of The Haven of Rest Rescue Mission and Children's Home. Mr. PARSONS was a World War II veteran, Mason and Baptist.
He is survived by a son and daughter, one grandson, sister.
Mr. PARSONS was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Beeler, Roy and Maze PARSONS, sister, LaDell RUSSELL and his parents, Minar and Maude PARSONS.

Mary Ruth (DILTZ) BLANKENSHIP, 80, retired dancing teacher died at her home in Fort Worth, Tarrant, TX. Saturday, May 1, 1999. Graveside memorial service was at Greenwood Memorial Park, Tuesday, May 4, 1999.
Mrs. BLANKENSHIP was born Oct. 31, 1918 in Marlow, Stephens, OK.
Mrs. BLANKENSHIP was a dancer in the first Casa Manana in 1937-39. Her husband, James BLANKENSHIP; mother and father, Clinton and Mary DILTZ and a brother Joseph DILTZ, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Bob BUCKLEY, nephews Michael, Patrick and Norman BUCKLEY and niece, Betty Lynn BUCKLEY.

Mrs. TOLLESON died Wednesday, June 23, 1999 at her residence.
She was born April 30,1920 in Cameron, OK to Robert J. and Lena BURDEN BROCK. On Nov. 2, 1939, she married Oras Bryan TOLLESON in Marietta, OK. She was a retired teacher's aide and a former volunteer with the Denton State School, Denton, TX. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne and Bryan "Tutor"; daughter Linda; brothers, R. J. BROCK of Gainesville and Joe BROCK of Clute, 11 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on June 5, 1987, son  Billy Bob TOLLESON and daughter, Pat TOLLESON.

Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, OK under the direction of the Kennedy Funeral Home of Marietta, OK.
Mr. POWERS was born July 29, 1951 at Wilson, OK to John L. and Peggy Marie SMITH POWERS. He had lived most of his life in Love Co., OK. On Dec. 25, 1971 he married Nancy CRANMORE in Marietta, OK. He served in the National Guard; Captain of the Love Co. Reserve Deputies, member of the Marietta, OK Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Emergency Response Team at Uniroyal.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, daughters, Casandra and Evelyn; brothers Harlon POWERS and Buddy POWERS of Gainesville, TX; Raymond POWERS and John Wayne POWERS of Thackerville, OK. and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Faith Marie POWERS.
Pallbearers are: Larry HICE, Harold LUKENHAN, Danny WILSON, Dennis BAKER, Dennis THURMAN and Marty GRISHAM.

Burial followed in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral  Chapel of Rush Springs.
Mrs. PETERMAN was born Dec. 2, 1942 in Chickasha, OK to Grace Matilda HART  and Milburn Everington SCOTT. She was a graduate of the Rush Springs High  School Class of 1960. She maried Richard Frank PETERMAN on Aug. 23, 1960 in  Wichita Falls, TX.
Survivors include her husband of Rush Springs; daughter and son-in-law,  Sandi and Alex RAMIREZ of Belton, TX; sons, Frank PETERMAN, Jr. and Todd  PETERMAN both of Midland, TX; 4 grandchildren; mother, Grace SCOTT of Rush Springs, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Don DOWLING of Wylie, TX, Connie CYPERT and Ginger DeCALUWE of Gainesville, TX, Mary Nel and Gary  O'DELL of Lake Kiowa and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. KELLEY died Saturday, July 10,1999. He was born March 19, 1928 in Tulsa, OK to John and Minta Jane MILLS KELLEY. Following his graduation from high school he attended Oklahoma A & M University in Stillwater, OK. On June 4 1958, he married Thelma Joyce CORMIER.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Gainesville, sons, Bryon J. KELLEY of Era, TX Robert J. KELLEY of Los Colinas, TX, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brothers Dr. George DAVIS of Seminole OK, John KELLEY of Fayetteville,AR, Albert KELLEY of AZ and David Kelley of Seminole, OK.; sisters Irene LOCKHART of Tulsa, OK, Alice TREGEA of Placerville, CA and Lela BENNETT of AZ.

He was born Aug. 27, 1912 in Frederick, OK to J. E. and Electa HOGSETT McCONNELL. On June 21, 1941, he married Loisjean WELLS in Hobart, OK.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Air Force from 1940 to 1945. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, TX.
Survivors include his wife, Loisjean, daughters, Marda, Debra; 5 grandsons, 5 greatgrandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charlie, Harry, Joe

ELSWICK
Memorial services for the Rev. George Edward ELSWICK, Sr., 78 of Thackerville, Love Co., OK are set for, Dec. 18 at the Thackerville First United Methodist Church in Thackerville with the Rev. Roger WILLARD, the Rev. Burney COPE and the Rev Danny MOSS officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kennedy Funeral Home in Marietta, OK.
The Rev. ELSWICK died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999 in Marietta, Love Co. OK.
He was born May 1, 1921 in Zebulon, KY to James B. and Minnie STAYTON ELSWICK. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.  He married Elizabeth WRIGHT in Winchester KY Apr. 15, 1948. He was an ordained Methodist Conference minister, serving churches in Oklahoma from 1949 until retiring in 1987. He pastored various churches over the state of OK including Thackerville, Marietta, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. He was providing pastoral services for the Indian Nation RV Resort in Thackerville at the time of his death.
He lived in Love County for the past 16 years.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth, son George ELSWICK; daughter Judy ELSWICK; a brother Charles ELSWICK and 2 grandchildren.

BAKER, Pontotoc (Vanoss) and Caddo (Anadarko)
Ethel Lue BLACKBURN BAKER passed into the loving arms of God on December 21 in Gainesville, Cooke, TX.
As she gloriously embraced the light of God, she was met by her beloved husband Thomas William BAKER, a dear daughter, Betty Jo, who preceded her in death as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Ethel was born in Vanoss, OK on September 8,1906 to Cass and Nancy BLACKBURN. Tom and Ethel were united in marriage in Anadarko, OK on Nov. 15, 1922. Their married life spanned over 76 years in the Gracemont and Anadarko area. Ethel was a loving, dedicated mother to five children, all of whom she leaves to cherish the gift of life: Orlen of Colorado, Bernane HANEY of Oklahoma, Pat and wife, Ruby, Laquetta and husband Pete and Janet and husband Don of TX as well as 18 grandchildren and many other beloved family members and friends.
A memorial service will be Thursday, Dec. 23 at the Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK.
Burial will be in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

LANCE
Service for William M. LANCE, 103, of Gainesville, Cooke, TX are set for Friday at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Jim PETTIGREW,  minister of Broadway Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Witt Cemetery.
Mr. LANCE died Dec. 14,1999 in Gainesville. He was born  Sept. 24, 1896 in Indian Territory, now Wayne, OK. to James Thomas and Martha WADKINS LANCE. He moved his family to Gainesville in 1916. After serving in the US Army in France during WWI, he returned to Cooked Co. and was engaged in farming all of his adult life. He married Florine GRUNDY on July 28, 1934 in Gainesville.
In February 1999, the Honorary Consul in Dallas for the French Government, Mr. John CRAWFORD, presented the Legion of Honor-Chevalier to Mr. LANCE. This is the highest award given by the French Government.
(There are less than 300 people in the United States to receive this honor)Mr. LANCE was the last known World War I veterans in Cooke County.
Survivors include his wife, Florine; daughter Darlene HENSLEY of Gaineville, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, William Lloyd LANCE, his parents, six brothers and five sisters.

Mrs. McAFEE died Sunday, December 26, 1999 in Marietta, OK.
She was born April 6, 1945, in Odessa, TX to Frank and Barbara POSEY JOHNSON. She had lived in Thackerville for the past 11 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Perry FOSTER, son Paul SHERO, daughters Donnia and Tammy; brothers David and Doug JOHNSON; sisters Carolyn and Jo; and 8 granchildren.
Pallbearers are Christopher SHERO, Billy STRONG, Brett FOSTER, Damon FOSTER and Eddie SKAGGS.

He was born Aug 12, 1920 in Pontotoc County, OK to John L. and Eva HUBBARD NUNER. He married Neva ADAY in Reno, NV. He was an Army veteran. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Lloyd Eugene and Wayne; daughters Evelyn, Lois, Donna, Paula, Kay and Terry; brothers LaRue and D. W. NUNER, sisters Audry, Pat and Jo; 29 grandchildren and 36 greatgrandchildren.
