IN THE COUNTY COURT IN AND FOR STEPHENS COUNTY, OKLHOMA

In the Matter of the Guardianship of Solomon Julian Ott, Charles A. Ott, Clifford J. Ott, Billie Don Ott, Virginia Fern Ott, and Mildred Ott, Minors.

Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of an order of the County Court of Stephens County, Oklahoma, made on the 25th day of November, 1940, in the matter of the guardianship of the above named minors, Georgia E. Cox, as guarian of the estate of said minors, will sell at private sale to the highest bidder for cash, subject to confirmation of said County Court, on or after the 14th day of December, 1940, at 10:00 o'clock A. M. at the office of Robert E. Owens, in the City of Duncan, in and County of Stephesn, all of the right, title, interest and estate of said minor's in and to the following described real estate located in Stephens County, State of Oklahoma, towit:

The SW 1/ 4 of the NE 1/4; and the S 1/2 of NW 1/4 of Section Five (5), Township Three (3) South, Range Seven (7) West, I. M. less Three and 11/100 (3.11) acres occupied as Right of Way by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad.

Notice is hereby given that Leona L. Patterson, administratrix of the estate of Joel B. Patterson, deceased, has rendered and presented for settlement and filed in said Court her final account and report of her administration, and her petition for distribution and her dischange; and that Tuesday, the 31st day of December, 1940, at 10:00 o'clock A. S. R. MURPHREE IS FETED ON BIRTHDAY AT FAMILY REUNION

S. R. Murphree was honored on his 75th birthday anniversary when Mrs. Murphree entertained a large group of relatives and a few additional guests with a birthday dinner and celebration in their home at 1103 South 11th street, Sunday.

Dinner was served family fashion shortly after 1 o'clock. Potted blooming plants were spaced about the rooms to create a festive atmosphere for the setting. Informality was the keynote to the day's amusement, featuring reminiscing and singing. Directing the musical program were, Dwight Bearden, and Rev. J. H. Bearden, with Mrs. J. H. Bearden accompanying on the old-fashioned organ.

Among the songs enjoyed by the group were, "I'll Live On" and "Precious Memories"; after which Mrs. John Boory, Mr. Judson Bailey, jr., and Mr. Haskell Murphree gave a vocal trio. A clarinet and according duet was played by Mr. and Mrs. Boory, and prayer was offered by the Rev. Bearden.

At the conclusion of the display of birthday gifts Mr. Murphree, and Mrs. J. A. Remy who also was observing her anniversary, were each presented with a birthday cake. The confections were cut and served by the honor guests. Complimenting Mr. Murphree were, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Murphree and sons, Haskell, Clinton and Vernon. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Murphree and daughters, Hester and Billie Jo.
