January 13, 1898

William Hezekiah BILLS came to Ok from TX in Dec. of 1894 by covered wagon.
He was born 23 May 1819 in Marshal Co., Tenn, son of Gersham BILLS and Althana Allison BALCH BILLS. He married Sarah Graham HARDIN on 22 April 1840 in Lewisburg, Marshall Co., TN.
He passed away 13 Jan 1898 and is buried in the Cloudchief Cemetery.
His wife, Sarah was born 18 May 1825 in Marshall Co., TN; daughter of John L. Hardin and Rebecca ? She passed away on 20 Jan. 1989 and is buried in the Cloudchief Cemetery.
I do have a copy of the marriage certificate on hand.

Rebecca E. BILLS WILLIS born 3 April 1852 in TN and was the daughter of William Hezekiah and Sarah Bills.
She Married John Ross Willis on 15 March 1877 in Cleburne, Johnson Co., TX, he was the son of James Isaac Willis and Cathrine ROSS WILLIS. Rebecca passed away January 27, 1913 in Cordell, Washita Co., OK and was also buried there.
