OBITUARY - E. B. THOMASON
E. B. Thomason was born in KY; died in Carmen, OK Feb. 1, 1923, aged 63 yrs. & 2 mo.
At the early age of 14 he was converted & joined the Baptist Church in which he lived a consistent Christian life for 6 yrs. Falling into worldly ways, he lapsed in his religious profession until a little over a year ago he repented & joined the Baptist Church in Carmen. He was a faithful & devoted member of the Carmen church.
His death is mourned by 5 brothers in KY; a sister in MO; his wife, 3 children & 3 step-children.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, attended by the grief-stricken members of the family and friends. Rev. N. E. Mitchell, the pastor, preached a sermon of consolation on "Christ as Lord; and Christ as the Great High Priest". Interment was in the City cemetery.
