ROBBINS
Christine Mildred ROBBINS, 71, of Cherokee County, died November 3.  Services were held November 7 in the Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William KELLY and E.H. ANDERSON officiating. She was born January 1, 1919, in Cherokee County, to Daniel and Cordia Aletha DUNLAP WOODARD.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann; a son, Richard; two sisters, Irene and LaDean; three brothers, Jack, Johnny and Jim, all of Okla.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

LONG
Cornelius (Pat) LONG, 86, of Stilwell, died November 21. Services were held November 23 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lee KILLER and V.O. BARKER officiating.  He was born on July 4, 1904, in Cherokee County, to Newton LONG and Katie CHRISTIE LONG.
Survivors include eight sons, Nophaie J., James, Cornelius Steven, George and David, of Okla., Lewis of Tenn., and Andy and J.C., both of Ark.; two daughters, Mary Ann and Clara, both of Okla.; two sisters, Maudie and Minnie, both of Okla.; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

SANDERSON
Wesley Howard (Jack) SANDERSON, 84, of Tahlequah, died November 20.  Services were held November 23 at Reed-Culver Chapel with Rev. Steve ALEXANDER officiating. He was born January 3, 1906 in Doniphan, Mo., to Thomas Jefferson and Minnie SIPES SANDERSON.  
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen of the home; two daughters, Wanda and Lois; a son, Wesley Howard; a sister, Jean, all of Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

PETEFISH
Irma RICE PETEFISH, 79, of Tahlequah died November 25. Services were held November 27 at the Go Ye Village Chapel with Dr. Harold LEVERIDGE officiating.  She was born December 25, 1910, in Holton, Kansas, to John and Hanna HEIHAUS RICE.
Surviving is her husband, Everett PETEFISH, of the home.

STEVENS
Donald Gene STEVENS, 40, of Salina, died November 23 at Grand Valley Hospital in Pryor. Services were held at the Peggs Community Church with Rev. Jack BATTENFIELD officiating.  He was born May 17, 1950, in Quantin, Texas, to Thomas and Faye STEVENS.  
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca, of the home; his parents, Thomas and Faye of Tulsa; a daughter, Donna; a son, Vaughn; three brothers, Charlie, Danny and Rodney; two sisters, Linda and Barbara, all of Okla.

ROSS
George James ROSS, 89, of Stilwell, died November 7, at his home in Stilwell. Services were held November 10 at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Russell CHEATHAM officiating.  He was born on March 25, 1901, in Stilwell, to James Willis ROSS and Elizabeth STEPHENS ROSS.
Survivors include two sons, George and Glenn, both of Okla.; one sister, Ruth, of Oregon; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

WRIGHT
Elizabeth Patricia WRIGHT, 62, of Tahlequah, died November 10 in Fort Smith, Ark. Services were held November 14, in the Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Captain Vernon DOLBY officiating.  She was born November 24, 1927, in Cherokee County, to Dick and Jennie FIELDING WOLFE.
Survivors include her husband, Fred of the home; a son, Gregory of Okla.; two brothers, Andy of Ark., and Home of Wash.; and two sisters, Ella and Lizzie, both of California.

STONE
Albert STONE, 78, of Tahlequah, died November 15. Services were held in the Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with  Rev. Bob DEWOODY officiating.  He was born January 14, 1912, in Tahlequah, to Grant and Mary WOFFORD STONE.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia, of the home; two sons, Stanley, of Okla. and Kirby of Ohio; a brother, Clarence of Okla.; and three grandchildren, Michelle of Ill., Lynette of Ky., and Kerri and Kristin of Okla.

SMITH
Charlie SMITH, 64, of Cookson, died November 11 at his home. Services were held November 13, in the Stokes Mission in Sequoyah County with William SMITH officiating.
He was born April 5, 1962 in Sequoyah County, to Tom and Mary Ann STARR SMITH.
Survivors include his wife, Wynema, of the home; a daughter, Wanda; a brother, R.B, all of Okla.; and three granddaughters, Charla, Crystal and Chelli.

BEAMER
Louanna BEAMER, 51, of Line Switch (i.e.), died November 26 in Muskogee. Services were held November 29, in the Echota Baptist Church.
She was born January 26, 1939, in Cherokee County, to Thomas and Lizzie DOCTOR BEAMER.
Survivors include two sons, Jobie and Jimmy Dale; five sisters, Bertha, Martha, Pauline, Malinda and Rosie, all of Okla.; two brothers, Dick of Okla., and Sam of Tenn.; and one grandchild.

HAILEY
Everett Franklin "Bubbie" HAILEY, 35, of Dewey, died August 28 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Muskogee. Services were held November 3, in the Veteran's Adminstration Medical Center Chapel at Muskogee.
He was born October 1, 1954, in Nowata County, to Everett D. HAILEY and the former Zelpha C. MAIDEN.

BUSHYHEAD
Mrs. W.G. (Dolores) BUSHYHEAD, 60, died in Tulsa, Okla. Services were held December 4, in Moore's Memory Chapel.
She was born in Norman, Okla., and was the devoted wife of W.G. BUSHYHEAD for 41 years.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Gene, Candace and Rodney, Annette and Wayne; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Patty and Dow and LeAnne; grandchildren, Courtney, Stuart, Stephanie, Will, Jesse, Clark, Spence, Adam, Betsy, Joshua, Ian, Caleb and Walker; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Karen and Jerelyn.

SPARKMAN
Gilbert Reed, SPARKMAN, 84, of Miami, died at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
He was born on July 26, 1906 the oldest son of A.H. and Annie CROTZER SPARKMAN.
Survivors include his wife, Cornelia Jean ESSEX SPARKMAN, of the home; two sons, Ronald and David; and one daughter, Janice; one brother, Kenneth; four sisters, Edna, Feral, Myrtle and Alma; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

GREENFEATHER
George P. GREENFEATHER, Jr., 70, died October 17. Services were held on October 20, at Moore Memory Chapel in Tulsa with interment in the White Oak Hills at the Shawnee Cemetery.
He was born on June 11, 1920, to George and Laura GREENFEATHER. He was four-fourths Loyal Shawnee.

HALFACRE
Michael Carl HALFACRE, 50, of Dover, Del., died November 9. Services were held in the Torbert Funeral Home in Dover.
He was born June 30, 1940 in Tahlequah, to Helen Rech and Floyd HALFACRE.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of the home; a stepson, Billie, of the home; a daughter, Teresa of Del.; a son, Michael, stationed in Turkey; his mother, Helen; a sister, Bobbie, Tulsa; a brother, Daniel, Texas; and five grandchildren.

PARROTT
Arthur (Bud) PARROTT, 78, Stilwell, died November 20, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. Services were held November 23, at the Stilwell City Cemetery with the Rev. Charles DUVALL officiating. He was born May 1, 1912, in Rufe, Okla., to Lewis PARROTT and Minnie a. LEWEY PARROTT.
Survivors include his wife, Odessia Jane, of the home; one son, Charles; one granddaughter; and two great grandchildren.

WARDEN
Bidy BATTLES WARDEN, 83, died November 18. Services were held November 21, in Welch.
She was the daughter of the late Ada and Hugh BATTLES of Stilwell. She taught school in and around Tahlequah in the early 1930's. She was a sister of the late Allie WOLF of Stilwell.

JACKSON
David Allen JACKSON, 28, Stilwell, died November 21, in Tulsa. Services were held November 23, at the Stilwell City Cemetery with the Rev. Gene QUICK officiating with interment under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.
He was born March 3, 1962, to Noah JACKSON and Jennie SHERLEY JACKSON in Stilwell.
Survivors include his mother, Jennie; a half-sister, Cheryl; his father and step-mother, all of Okla.; three brothers, Gary and Bill of Okla., and Rick of Mo.; one niece; one nephew; and his grandmother, Lucy of Okla.

WILLIAMS
Perry Allen WILLIAMS, 73, Hobbs, N.M., died November 19, at a nursing home in Hobbs. Services were held at the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. He was born August 5, 1917 in Marble City.
He is survived by two sons; Glenn of Georgia, and James of Okla.; one daughter Jacqueline of Okla.; one brother, Raymond of Okla.; one sister Elleta of Okla.; one granddaughter; eight grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

STARR
Hickory STARR, 75, died February 17. Services were held February 20 at Moore Memory Chapel with Bruce ROSS officiating. He was born May 15, 1915 in Blackgum to Ezekiel STARR and Susie SMITH STARR. Mr. STARR was a Veteran of World War 11, U.S. Navy Combat, a retired barber, principal chief of the traditional Cherokee Religious Society, the Nighhawk Keetoowah Society, grandson of Redbird Smith, founder of the Keetoowah Society and Spiritual Leader.  
Survivors include: his wife, Mary of the home; children, Hickory Jr., of Maryland, Rachel and Cathy of Okla., Randy of Texas; sister, Rosella of Okla.; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

LOUIS
Powell LOUIS, 79, Tulsa died December 21, 1990. Services were held in Moore's Southlawn Chapel. He was born August 10, 1911 to Lillie HORN POWELL and Thomas Powell.
Survivors include: two sons, Howard and Larry of Okla.; three daughters, Regina and Joann of Okla., and Barbra of Calif.; a brother, Jerry of Okla.; a sister, Mollie of Okla.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

MAHERAS

Evelyn Afton SUAGEE MAHERAS, 96, Bartlesville died January 18. Services were held January 21 in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill COOK officiating. She was born November 12, 1894 in the Afton Community to Joel Bryan and Dovie Allena GAITHER SUAGEE. She attended the Cherokee Indian Female Seminary.
Survivors include: a nephew, Richard of Okla.

SCULLAWL
William Rufus "Bill" SCULLAWL, 82, native full-blood Cherokee of Washington County died January 23. Services were held January 26 in the Matoaka Baptist Church. He was born July 31, 1908 south of Bartlesville to Dan Bear and Polly DUCWAH SCULLAWL.
Survivors include: his wife, Ruby Maxine SCULLAWL of Bentonville, Ark.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Florence Rachel) TROTTINGWOLF of rural Ochelata and Mrs. Pearl BOWLER of Bartlesville.

FISHINGHAWK
Leo FISHINGHAWK, 36, Stilwell died January 9. Services were held January 14 at the Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Andy GONZALES officiating. He was born November 20, 1954 in Tulsa to Leo FISHINGHAWK, Sr. and Katherine WEESE.  
Survivors include: Dana and daughter, Letha of Okla.; one son, Steven of Texas; his father, Leo Sr.; his mother Katherine; one sister, Linda Sue; two half brothers, Lawrence and Lance; two half-sisters, Jodie and Bobbie; his step-mother Shirley; his step-father Steve; his step grandfather, Sequoyah, all of Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

RAMSEY

Harvey Loman RAMSY, 81, Adair County, died February 19. Services were held February 22 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Jim SISCO and Coy PAGE officiating. He was born July 7, 1909 in Jasper, Ark., to George RAMSEY and Lona BEAN RAMSEY.
Survivors include: his wife Verna of the home; five daughters, Louise, Glenda, Wanda and Jean of Okla., and Rexene of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four sisters, Onva and Ruby of Okla., Margaret of Calif., and Alene of Mich.; and one brother Wendell of Kansas.

LONG
Minnie LONG, 83, Stilwell died February 14. Services were held February 18 at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. V.O. BARKER officiating. She was born September 14, 1907 in Adair County to Lewis and Sally RICHARDS DAVIS.
Survivors include: eight sons, Nophaie J., Andy J., James D. and Cornelius Steven, George and David, of Okla., Lewis of Tenn., and J.C. of Ark.; two daughters, Clara and Mary of Okla.; one sister, Carrie of Okla.; one brother, Jim of Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

KELLEY
Lonnie KELLEY, 45, Westville died January 8. Services were held January 11 in the Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Skip HANVEY and Rev. Claude MCGEE officiating. He was born March 29, 1945 in Chewey to Lee and Lillian NIBLACK KELLEY.
Survivors include: his wife, Charlene, of the home; one daughter, Candes; one son, Anthony; his mother, Lillian; four brothers, Maynard and Chester, of Okla., Bobby of Ark., and Roger of Wash.; and one sister Patricia of Wash.

FISHINGHAWK
Ada L. FISHINGHAWK, 93, Tahlequah died January 14. Services were held January 17 in the Hart Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Jim KUTZ officiating.  
She was born August 17, 1897 in Adair County.
Survivors include: three daughrers, Ann, and Dorothy of Okla., and Leona of Colo.; one son, Joe of Okla.; a brother, Jess of Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.

PRUETT
Virgil Clarence PRUETT, 74, Westville died January 28. Services were held January 31 at Hart Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Aaron BARTON officiating. He was born November 18, 1916 in Eldon to John William PRUETT and Laura Francis TUDOR PRUETT.  
Survivors include: his wife, Margaret Ruth; one son, Jerry Dale; two daughters, Judy Ann and Sandra, all of Okla.; two brothers, L.W. of Okla., and Bill of Ore.; three sisters, Neoma, Ruby and Beaulah, all of Okla.; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

CHRISTIE
Watt A. CHRISTIE, 92, Titanic Community died January 23. Services were held Jan. 26 at the Freewater Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ray ELLIS and the Rev. John HUMMINGBIRD officiating. He was born September 11, 1898 in Stilwell to Goback and Susan THORNTON CHRISTIE.
Survivors include: two daughters, Alma and Vera; one son Herbert; two brothers, Amos and Wallace, all of Okla.; one sister, Clara, of Calif; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

VANN
Jimmie VANN, 64, Tahlequah died January 16. Services were held January 21 in the Illinois River Baptist Church with Rev. Rex VANN officiating.  He was born May 10, 1926 in Oklahoma to Tom and Bissie BIRD VANN.
Survivors include: five sons, Jimmy Ray of Calif., Thomas, Steven and Roy of Okla., and Henry of Nev.; three daughters, Sara and Cindy of Okla., and Barbara of Ark.; his mother, Bissie of Okla.; three brothers, Rex, Lincoln and John, all of Okla.; three sisters, Millie of Okla., Betty of Calif., and May of Kansas; and 16 grandchildren.

SPARROW
Lucy SPARROW, 78, Muskogee died January 23. Services were held January 26 in the Park Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charley CAREY officiating. She was born August 12, 1912 in Teresita to Stan Waitie and Jennie BEAVER SMITH.
Survivors include: three daughters, Julie of Okla., Maggie of Calif., and Katie of W.V.; two sons, Jim and Everett, both of Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

SNELL
Jennie Nofire SNELL, 87, Tahlequah died January 13. Services were held January 16 in the Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Rex VANN and Virgil HOLCOMB officiating.  She was born December 25, 1903 in Adair County to Mitchell and Mary BUNCH BIGFEATHER.
Survivors include: a stepson, Bob CHRISTIE of Arizona; a brother, Walter BIGFEATHER of Okla.; a granddaughter, Lou Ann of Okla.; three great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

VANN
Susie Allen VANN, 107, Greasy community died January 25. Services were held January 28 in the New Baptist Church. She was born December 11, 1883 in Indian Territory to James and Lizzie MIDDLESTRIKER ALIEN.
Survivors include: four sons, Jack, Dirtthrower, Allen and Mack; two daughters, Lydia and Katie, all of Okla.; 19 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 47 great great grandchildren; and three great great great grandchildren.

KILLER
Tom KILLER, 81, Tahlequah died February 2. Services were held February 5 in the Greenleaf Cemetery with Sister Opal CONRAD officiating. He was born May 1, 1909 in Bunch to Star and Katie VANN KILLER.
Survivors include: a son and a daughter-in-law; and a granddaughter, Alice.

TOWNSEND
Thomas Riley TOWNSEND, 85, Tahlequah died February 10. Services were held February 12 in the Hart Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. John BRILL officiating. A full-blood Cherokee Indian, he was born February 11, 1905 in Eldon to George and Laura SHIRLEY TOWNSEND
Survivors include: two daughters, Rita of Calif. and Eula of Okla.; three sons, Thomas of Ark., Arnold of Mo. and Gary of Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

GANN
Looney GANN, 83, Adair County died February 8. Services were held February 12 in the Rock Fence Baptist Church with Rev. George POLECAT officiating. He was born August 20, 1907 to Thomas and Nannie BUSH GANN.
Survivors include: four sons, George, Tommy, John and Littlejohn; three daughters, Ella, Sally and Patsy; two brothers, Jim and Charley; a sister, Sallie, all of Okla.; 36 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

BREWER
Geraldine "Judy" BREWER, 48, Adair County, died February 17. Services were held February 20 in the Honey Hill Free Holiness Church with Rev. Aaron BARTON officiating. She was born December 15, 1942 in Claremore to William and Carrie GUINN BLACKBIRD.
Survivors include: her husband, Wayne of the home; two sons, Edward and Samuel; a brother, Tom; two sisters, Leora and Georgia, all of Okla.; and two grandchildren.
