RESLER- KIRTZ PHOTOS

I am enclosing pictures of my gggrandfather Robert Resler and his wife my gggrandmother Margaret Jane (Kirtz) Resler, also of their family grave stones in the Riverside Cemetery there in Montpelier, Willams, Ohio. Res-01.jpg is my gggrandfather Robert Resler, Res-17.jpg is the Resler grave site with me standing there on 31 Aug. 1997. Robert Resler b. 21 Aug. 1818 in Mifflin Twp., Juniata, Pennsylvania and d. 17 March 1891 in Montpelier, Williams, Ohio. His wife Margaret Jane Kirtz was born on 22 May 1830 in Central, Licking Co., Ohio, d. 4 May 1920 in Montpelier, Williams, Ohio. Robert moved to Ohio with his father I believe in 1836 and settled in Williams County along with his father John Resler and mother Catharine Melloy Resler who are buried in the Old Pulaski Cemetery there in Williams County. Roberts son Jonathan Barnes Kirtz Resler my great-grandfather was born there in Springfield Twp. on 30 June 1857 and died in Vestaburg, Montcalm, Michigan where he and his wife Mary Jane Laughlin Resler are buried in the Ferris Center Cemetery. Jonathan and Mary's only child Maggie Maroah Resler Hillard, my grandmother was born on 14 April 1882 in Ferris Twp., Montcalm Michigan and died on 2 Sept. 1961 in Astoria, Clatsop, Oregon and buried at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton, Clatsop, Oregon along with my grandfather Jolly Washington Hillard. Maggie and Jolly's son Owen Barns Hillard b. 30 May 1906 in Vestaburg, Montcalm, Michigan d. 18 July 1984 in Long Beach, Pacific, Washington and his wife Frances Dorothy Palmberg b. 2 April 1909 in Astoria, Clatsop, Oregon and d. 21 Aug. 1991in Astoria, Clatsop, Oregon, my parents, are buried in the Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton, Clatsop, Oregon along with many of my relatives. -Robert Owen J Hillard
