Generation No. 1

1. BALTAS ( BALTICE)¹ BEACH was born 1806 in Pennsylvania, and died Unknown. He married ROSEANNA UNK. She was born 1807 in Pennsylvania, and died Unknown.

Notes for BALTAS ( B ALTICE) BEACH:

1850 Census shows Baltice and Roseanna Beach in Lycoming co. PA. 1880 Census has at least 3 of their children in williams Co. Ohio. David marr. Elizabeth Smith; Mary marr. Adam Drum; Baltas marr. Catharine Altman. the 1880 census showed David and Baltas' father born in PA and thei mother in Germany, but the 1850 census showed both parents born in PA.

In 1880 there was another Beach in Wms. Co. living nearby in Brady TWP: G. H. Beach, born 1826 in Hesse Darmstadt Germany, marriea to Catharina ?. She was born same place in 1829. They had at least 2 children: John E. Beach b. 1858 in Ohio, marr. Rose Denchar, dtr of ? and Jennie Denchar; Louisa Beach, born 1858 in Ohio. G.H. Beach was listed as a Saloonkeeper. 1910 census showed this John E. Beach had children: Edgar E., b 1890; Wilma R. Beach b. 1892, and Earnest J. Beach, b. 1897. Not known if any relationship to the Baltas Beach family.

Adam emigrated in April 19, 1845 with his mother and his youngest sister.

1880 census shows Baltas born in PA, his father born in PA, and his mother in Wurtemburg ?Bavaria/Germany. Catharine born in Ohio, her father born in Ohio and her mother in Bavaria
