Dear Mother,
I write to let you know where I am. I am still with the field
Hospital.
We left Atlanta last Sunday night, a week ago.
Arrived in this place on the morning of the eighth.
We are lying here awaiting orders. Do not know where we are going or
what is to be done with us. Probably we will know in a few days. If so
and we get to some post, or stopping place I will write again.
Your Son,
Amos S. Warwick
