      "Military funeral services for Sgt. David H. Wainscott, 33, who was killed in action in Vietnam, Nov. 9, were held Monday morning in Lawrenceburg, Ky.
      A graduate of Little Miami High School at Morrow, Sergeant Wainscott is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Brock Wainscott; two sons, Jeff and Joseph; his mother Mrs. Mary Wainscott of 517 Miller St., Lebanon; his father, Arthur Wainscott of Lebanon; two brothers, Roger at home, and Robert of Middletown and two sisters, Mrs. Robert D. Haygood, S. East St. Lebanon and Mrs. Vincent Kratzer who is with her husband in Germany.
      A career man, Sergeant Wainscott enlisted in the Army at 17. He had spent three years in Germany and was at Fort Knox, Ky. prior to leaving for Vietnam last August.
      Services were held at the Huddleson-Sparrow Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Ky."

      "A Loveland Marine, who had left for Vietnam on April 28 was killed in action less than four days later. Cpl. Jeryl L. Watkins, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vyale Watkins, 200 O'Banion Ave., Loveland, died in action near Quang Tri.
      The details of his death were not available but his parents were informed that Watkins died in an explosion.
      Watkins graduated from Loveland High School in June of 1964 and entered the service in September of the same year.
      In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, John, now serving with the Army at Ft. Polk, La., and James, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Sewell, Ashtabula, O., Mrs. Judith Rottinghaus, Loveland, and Miss Jacqueline Watkins, at home.
      Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press time."
