"Sergeant Kyle Smiddy, 25, of 183 Charlotte Avenue in Lebanon
died during action in Vietnam about a week ago, it was announced
Wednesday morning.
Funeral services, announced Wednesday, will be held at the Stubbs
Funeral Home, Waynesville at 10:30 Friday morning. Survivors include
a sister, Mrs. Anna Fay Griffith of Franklin, and a brother, James
E. of Springboro.
Burial will be in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call
at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Sgt. Smiddy's parents
are Mr. and MRs. Clarence Smiddy, with whom he made his home."
