Comments:
"The State of North Carolina to Capt. Joseph Sharpe Company D(?) To (?) Day in the Light Horse (?) from the 26 Day of January until the 11 of March 1781 (portion missing) the Command of Colo Francis Locke." John Shaw's payment was for shoeing horses.
