      " . . . Mr. and Mrs. Ralph G. Laymon, Sr., of Morrow have received word from the Defense Department that their son, Pvt. Elmer Leroy Laymon, was killed in action in Korea. Entering the service on November 21, 1950, he took his basic training at Camp Breckinridge, Ky.
      Pvt. Laymon was home on furlough the last of March and returned to Seattle Washington, April 2, where he was flown to Korea."
