Know ye, that William H. H. Cain a private of John Cretor’s
Company (R), 79th Regiment of the Ohio Infantry
Volunteers, who was enrolled on the 9th dau of Aug. 1862 to serve three years
or during is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 9th
day of June 1865, at Washington D. C., by reason of G. O. 77 A.C.O. and instruction
AGO June 5, 1865.
Said William H. H. Cain was born in Warren County in the State of Ohio, is 28
years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, dark complexion, black eyes, black hair,
and by occupation when enrolled, a farmer.
Given near Washington D. C., this 9th day of June 1865
