Funeral Services Will Be Conducted Monday For Tailor

LEBANON, June 27. – Joseph F. Zimmerman, 78, Lebanon’s oldest active businessman died in his sleep early Saturday morning.
He fell at his home on East Main Street, Friday, but at the time his injuries were thought to have been minor. Cause of his death still is undetermined.
Mr. Zimmerman had operated a tailoring shop in Lebanon for the past 50 years. He also had served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs for the past 30 years.
He spent his entire life in the Lebanon vicinity and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada Zimmerman; two sons, Fred of Lebanon and Lewis of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Nicholas of Lebanon and a sister, Mrs. Tom Shore of Brooklyn, N. Y.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M. Monday at the Oswald Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.
