Cora (Fox) Sheets (1886 - 1947) MRS. CORA SHEETS Dayton - Mrs. Cora Sheets, 61, of Route 11, Dayton, died yesterday in Miami Valley Hospital where she had been a patient for six months. Survivors are husband Elmer Sheets; five sisters, Mrs. Laura Weidel of Miamisburg; Mrs. M. D. Degler of Waynesville; Mrs. A. H. Montgomery of Franklin; Mrs. Anna Chenoweth of Dayton and Mrs. Lucy Beachler of Miamisburg; five brothers, Harry, Henry, Edward and Ernest Fox, all of Dayton, and Wilfred Fox of Middletown. Services Monday at 2 p.m. at the home, Springboro and Chistze Rd. Burial in Springboro cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after noon Sunday. JENNIE B. SHEETS BURIED TUESDAY Brief Illness Fatal To Warren County Native On Saturday Following a heart attack suffered several days ago, Mrs. Jennie Beel Sheets, aged 71, died Saturday night at her home on East Silver street. She was a lifelong Warren county resident. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m., at Oswald Funeral Home here in charge of the Rev. Ransom Ebersole. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clara Hance, Lebanon; eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Drake and Mrs. Mollie Pence, both of Lebanon; a brother, John Lewis, Greenville, and a half brother, Elbert Lewis, Lebanon. JENNIE SHEETS Mrs. Jennie Sheets passed away October 22, 1949, after a three week illness. She was 71 years 10 months and 3 days old. Born December 19, 1877, in Darke county to William and Hannah Jane Graham Lewis, she was the youngest of eight children. She came to Warren county to live with an uncle, John Throckmorton, at the death of her mother, when she was nine months old. October 21, 1896, she was united in marriage to Albert F. Beel, who died April 28, 1931. To this marriage were born a son, Bernard William, who died in 1914, and a daughter, Clara, who with her family resides in Lebanon. She remarried December 28, 1932, to Elmer Sheets, who died January 16, 1948. Mrs. Sheets is survived by one daughter, Clara Hance, and eight grandchildren; also one daughter-in-law. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Drake and Mrs. Frank Pence of Lebanon; one brother, John Lewis of Greenville, Ohio, and one half-brother, Elbert Lewis of Lebanon. Mrs. Sheets was a good Christian woman loved and respected by all her friends. Victor Odell Sheets (1946-1995) Victor Odell Sheets, born in Lebanon at Blair Brothers Hospital, July
27, 1946, died 8/4/95 in Austin, Texas. In 1962 he received the Eagle
Award in Scouting. After he graduated from Lebanon High School in 1964,
he enrolled at United Electronics Institute in Louisville, Ky. and received
a degree in electronics in 1967. He received a B.S. Degree in Computer

SPRINGORO’S LAST WAR VETERAN DIES SPRINGBORO, March 9. – Mr. Sheets is survived by three sons, William and Gus of Springboro and Carl of Dayton, and eight grandchildren.
