Died.

UNION VILLAGE, O., Oct. 14, 1873
Friend McClintock: As you desire a knowledge of passing events of interest, I would inform you of the departure for the summer land, on the 10th inst. of our brother Daniel Miller, at the ripe age of 76 years, after an illness of about ten days. He has been a member of the Shaker Society for about 68 years - his parents and family united with the Society soon after its organization in 1805. He was generally known throughout this part of the country, and wherever known, was universally respected and loved.

Yours Kindly,
T. J. Embree
