Elizabeth (Jeffries) Hunter (1814-1903)

The remains of Mrs. Thomas Hunter, better known as "Aunt Bettie" Hunter were brought to Morrow a week ago Sunday for burial. She died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Will Roach, of Indianapolis, at the age of eighty-nine years. She at one time was a resident of this county. In her family were fifteen children and at one time nine went to school from that household, Lon Hunter being among the number. Beside her immediate family connections she had a wide circle of friends and relatives.
