UNION VILLAGE TO UNSEEN REALMS ABOVE Passes Aged Sister In the Purity of Last Sabbath morning, there passed to the realm of the unseen, Sister Mary Ann Holland, a native of Baltimore, Md., born Febrpary [sic] 24, 1820. She joined the Shaker Society in 1848. During her long service, she faithfully filled at times, the office of Eldress and Deaconess. She was a gifted singer and for many years held leading place in the choir. In reading her long history, we follow no story of a life given to riotous worldliness, but chronicoles [sic] of a strictly upright life, grand in its simplicity, rich with purity of deed and sentiment, proving that blessed are the pure in heart.
