Miss Persus Hoag, formerly of the Shakers of Union Village, Warren Co., O., has recently died while with friends in Michigan. While on a visit to his place a few years ago, Persus made a number of friends. She was a lady of more than ordinary culture, intelligence and an excellent conversationalist.
