MATTIE PEARL FRANK
Mattie Pearl, daughter of Ellen and William Dill,
was born March 10, 1872, and departed this life August 27, 1931.
At the age of twenty years, she accepted Jesus as her Savior in a revival
at Fellowship, and remained a firm believer in God the rest of her life.
On June 28, 1894, she was united in marriage to George O. Frank.
To this union were born three children, Harry William, Mary Ellen
and George Dill.
On February 23rd, 1918, her husband departed this life, leaving her the
care and responsibility of the family. In this she looked to God for help
and guidance.
Two months later her son Harry enlisted in the World
War. This was almost heart-rending, but she put him into God’s care
and keeping, knowing that God doeth all things well. And on Easter morning
after the War was over, Harry returned home, safe and
well.
My day of life declineth,
And my sun is sinking low;
I near the banks of Jordan,
Through whose waters I must go.
Oh, let me wake beyond the stream,
In land celestial blest,
To be forever with the Lord
In Canaan’s promised rest.
Cards of Thanks
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who so
kindly assisted us during the prolonged illness and at the time of the
