Richard Sheward and Winnie Dempsey

Roachester.
Roachester, July 18. -
Death has summoned two of our citizens to the spirit world in the persons of Mr. Richard Sheward and Miss Winnie Dempsey, the latter a young colored lady. Mr. Sheward was a well known in Morrow as a shoemaker, a quiet, inoffensive citizen. he will be much missed by our people as well as by his family. His disease was ulceration of the stomach. Miss Dempsey had a complication of diseases. Rev. Mr. Hammell of Morrow, officiated at the funeral services of Mr. Sheward to the benefit of all present. The Rev. Mr. Swiggert, pastor of the Morrow Presbyterian church, had charge of the services at Miss Dempsey's funeral. Both of these ministers are talented men and worthy of their high calling.
