Fannie [Collins] Albertson Dane

Mrs. Fannie Albertson Dane daughter of the late Messenger and Susie Collins was born in Warren County May 30, 1912.
She departed this life in the hospital at Wilmington, Ohio April 30, 1971 at the age of 58 years and 11 months.
She was united in marriage to Hugh Dane may 26, 1951 at Lebanon, Ohio; where she lived most of her life. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, three sons James and Richard Albertson, Lebanon, Robert Albertson, Harveysburg; two daughters Doris Smith and Evelyn Landacre, Lebanon. One daughter Helen preceded her in death. Three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie McKeever, Waynesville; Mrs. Voila Fealy, Harveysburg; Mrs. Louis Walker, Wilmington, Ohio. One sister Bertha Knowlton and one brother Walter Collins preceded her in death.
She also leaves 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild she loved dearly. Grandma was someone special to each and every one of her grandchildren for just a touch of her hand on their brow would wipe away all tears from their faces when they needed it most.
She not only raised her own children but helped to raise several others and loved them as though they were her own.
She has been a member of the Moose and Eagle Lodge for several years.
No one enjoyed their life more than Fannie. She was always happy and if she felt bad no one would know it, for she always had a happy smile for everyone she met. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed not only around Lebanon for she had friends and loved ones everywhere. To know her was to love her and I am sure anyone who ever knew her will never forget Fannie.
