Joshua Borden (1838-1892)

Joshua Borden died at his home in Lebanon Tuesday morning. His disease which has kept him bedfast for several months, was consumption of the bowels. Mr. Borden was born in Lebanon, July 22, 1838, and has lived here most of his life. He was a painter by trade and was for several years prominent in democratic councils of this county. A wife and four small children survive him, besides two sons, g. A. and Charles Borden, who were children of the first wife of the deceased. The funeral services will be held at th ehouse Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
