Among those who attended the Christmas entertainment at Bethany Church, on Christmas eve. were John VanRiper and family, Grandmother Perrine, M. E. Greathouse and wife, and Miss Lina Hizar.

John Stoneman and wife were on our streets Sunday.

Mr. L. C. Nixon will soon visit the World's Fair at New Orleans.

The ice packers have been busy putting away ice.

Rev. Hisey spent Saturday with Martin Bagford and family.

Marion Ertel, of Middletown, his been visiting friends in this vicinity.

School closed Wednesday last for the holiday vacation.

Roy Robison, of the University, spent Sabbath with his parents at Silver Grove

The protracted meeting closed at Silver Grove Sabbath evening. Rev. Hisey has gone to assist Rev. Sutton at Springfield. May success crown his every effort.

Miss Stella Hizar, of Mill Grove school, spent part of last week with her mother, Mrs. John Hizar, of Lebanon.

M. E. Greathouse and wife spent Christmas with friends at Lebanon.

Miss Emma Spencer, teacher of Ft. Ancient school, is spending the holidays with friends at home.

Miss Nellie Hadley, of Spring Hill, spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Geo. Shawhan.

Mollie Wolfe, of near Waynesville, spent Sunday with friends at Silver Grove.

H. Baker attended church at Silver Grove Sunday.
