K. P. Memorial Day

K. P. Memorial Day

On Sunday last, the Lebanon Knights of Pythias, to the number of seventy-five, observed Pythian Memorial Day. The preliminary exercises were held in their catle hall, where they were addressed by Rev. W. F. Silveus, D.D., of the Cumberland Presbyterian church, and Rev. Mr. Patton, of Red Lion. The Knights then formed in line and headed by the Lebanon band marched to the cemetery, where the graves of all deceased members of the lodge were strewn with flowers.

The members buried here are Joseph N. Turner, Sam E. Adams, Harry Wilson, John Harley, William Seeker, Granville E. Colbert, B. Frank Brown, Frank Jack, Harry Pullen, Frank Lewis, H. W. Irons, O. N. Thurston, E. C. Ralston, Warren M. Johnston, Clifford Marlatt. Those buried away from here are George P. Patterson, Wallace Wilson, Charles E. Hale, Thomas K. Redd, E. V. St.John and F. C. Recker.
