Graham Cemetery northwest of the intersection of Franklin & West Streets in Ridgeville Clearcreek Township, Warren County, Ohio |

Little remains of this old Methodist Graveyard other than a couple of stones and stone fragments propped up with steel fence posts. The Register of Interments for the Miami Cemetery in Corwin lists at least 60 burials that were said to have been removed from Ridgeville to the Miami Cemetery. The bulk of the removals were done in 1870 with a few others in 1872, 1880, 1882, 1900 & 1911. Three of those were said to be from "Babbitts Graveyard in Ridgeville." The rest simply say Ridgeville. The earliest original burial in those removals was for Anna Hays, who died 9 Jul 1825. The Register of Interments entry for Martha J. Hayes does not contain any dates but it indicates that she is the oldest burial in the Miami Cemetery. This would suggest that she died sometime before 1822. See List of Removals. |
