Oakley’s full Name was Charles Oakley Mahlon Ridge ( The family called him “Oakley”). Named after his father Mahlon Ridge (My 2nd Great Grandfather) who was in the 79th OVI. Edna McKinsey was his second wife. Alberta Compton (called “Bertie” by family members) was his first wife."
