ALLEN
The WPA Plat Map for Crosson cemetery lists John Allen as a Civil War Veteran. Warren County Ohio Veteran Grave Registration Cards", page 7 indicates that he served in Co F, 47th OVI [no one with that name is found on the roster for the 47th OVI.] "Lest We Forget, Volume I" page 31 & "Civil War Soldiers Buried in Warren County, Ohio" , page 65 both indicate that the John Q. Allen, buried in Crosson Cemetery, served in Co A, 79th OV. The Pension Index Cards and "Headstone Cards" for the John Allen that served in the 79th indicate that he died 10 Feb 1894 leaving a widow named Belle M. Allen.
