Revolutionary War Soldiers Buried In Warren County

While searching the files in the Warren County Museum, the writer discovered a list of Revolutionary War soldiers buried in assorted cemeteries in Warren County. Many of the names will be recognizable to the many descendants in the county. The cemeteries as well as the participants will be organized alphabetically.

Dick's Creek Cemetery, near Blue Ball:
- Robert Beal, John Brant, Joseph Green, Andrew Kerr, John McMeen, Joseph Parks, James Wilson.
Friends Meeting House Cemetery, Caesar's Creek:
- Daniel Collett.
Friends Cemetery, Waynesville: Ezekiel Cleaver, Gerald King.
Fort Ancient Hill Top Cemetery: Nathan Harrell, Jeremiah Mills, John St.John.
Lebanon Cemetery: Benjamin D. Boylan, Ezekiel Erwin, William Hathaway, Leonard Peckinpaugh, William Russell.
Maineville Cemetery: John Scott, Ephriam Stevens, Francis Tufts.
Mt. Holly Cemetery: John Campbell, John Sanders, Daniel Stump.
New Jersey Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Carlisle: George Lane, Hendrick Lane, Joseph Vanderveer, Joseph Van Note.
Old Tapscott Cemetery, Carlisle: Lewis Anderson, Abner Meeker, Robert Moses, William Schenck, James Tapscott.
Pioneer Cemetery, Lebanon: Francis Dunlevy, Mary Craig Dunlevy (nurse), John Edmund Geohegan, Daniel Gray, Robert Hamilton, Matthias Spinning, Thomas Venard.
South Lebanon Cemetery (Formerly Old Deerfield Cemetery): Stephen Brant, Nathan Kelly, Ephriam Kibbey, David Sutton, Jonathan Trovillo.
Springboro Cemetery: Charles Brown, Jacob Christman, Christian Fox, Thomas Gilles, George Gordon, James Johnson, Sr., Martin Keever, Gilbert Kennedy, Stephen Kinney, George Knox, John McCord, Col. John McDannell (Danel), James Pettecrew, Samuel Robinson, John Ward, Christopher (or Christian) Zehring.
Turtlecreek Cemetery (Formerly Kirby Cemetery), Lebanon: William Graham, Benajah Gustin, Eleazer Riggs, Sr.
Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin: Nathaniel Bond, Andrew Catick, James Death, Sr., Michael Fox, Peter Harris, Garrett Schenck, Rev. William Schenck,
Union Village, the following are presumed to have been buried on Union Village grounds: Francis Beedle, Jonathan Davis, Anthony Dunlavy, Moses Easton, John Houston, Benjamin Howard, Matthew Huston, Calvin Morrell, Reuben Morris, Abijah Pelham, Samuel Sering.

David Banta - probably buried in ancient tomb on farm;
