THEODORE ROSS, blacksmith, Lebanon, was born in Turtle Creek Township May 1, 1829. He is the son of Isaiah and Mary (Draper) Ross, the former a native of Virginia, and the latter of Pennsylvania. Our subject received his education in the common schools of the county, and at the age of seventeen commenced learning blacksmithing, at which he has continued working. He was married April 3, 1856, to Miss Anna Brown, a native of New Jersey, by whom he has had six children, five boys and one girl, namely: George A., John E., Frank S., Oren Q., Alonzo C. and Mary L. The parents are members of the Christian Church, and are a highly respected couple. They own a neat, comfortable home in the village of Genntown. |
