EHRMANN / EHRENMAN / EHERENMANI am researching my great great grandfather. He immigrated in 1834 from Germany to Ohio. On the ship he was listed as "Jean Ehrmann". He came with his wife, Charlotte, son/daughter Christian/Christtine, son Jean (my great grandfather: Adam John Areman/Ehrmann). I have them on the 1850 census, Adam, Charlotte, Emily, Christian, Adam J., Florina, Margaret, Catharine. Then I have Margaretha's marriage to a Schumm. I have Christian's marriage and family. I have Adam John's moving to Minnesota with his future wife, Orrillia Harding and her family Hiram Harding. They then move to Iowa where they lived and died.
I have the death of Charlotte in 1851 from Lutheran church records.
I have the marriage of Jean Adam Ehrenman to Barbara Dietrich in August, 1853 from Lutheran church records.
Barabara died in September 1853 and Adam Ehrenman died in November 1853.
That is all I have. I do not know what happened to the youngest child, Catharine.
Maragret was living with the Adam Dietrich family in 1860.
This is realistic since the Adam Dietrich family immigrated in 1834 on the same ship as Jean Adam Ehrmann and family.
I am hoping if you create a surname of "Ehrmann/Ehrenman/Eherenman" on your registry, someone may be answer the above questions.
Thank you,
