I was scanning old family photos from an album another family member gave to me years ago. This album has several pictures of members of the
CARTER family who came to Tippecanoe County, Ind. from Ross and Vinton counties, Ohio.
 
There was no name on this picture or on the album page so the man in the photo is unknown. Since it was taken in Chillicothe, Ohio, I am
presuming it is of a CARTER or possibly a HAYNES (Margaret CARTER md. Henry HAYNES). Information on Carter family is below the photo. Does anyone recognize this man?

Elizabeth was born on 4 Aug 1807 in Ohio, died on 20 Feb 1866 in
Tippecanoe Co. Or Fountain Co., IN at age 58, and was buried in Salem
Cemetery, Maysville, Fountain Co., IN. They had five children: James,
Louisa, Abner, Elmina, and Robert. Robert next married Sarah Unknown
[5203] on 29 Jun 1871 in Tippecanoe Co., IN. Sarah was born in 1832 in
Virginia and died on an unknown date.

at age 79, and was buried in Salem Cemetery, Maysville, Fountain Co.,
IN. They had six children: Margaret Ellen, Amanda, Elizabeth, James
Francis, Caroline "Carrie," and Robert.
