Mrs. Spurgeon loved her home and being of a very industrious disposition her hands were busy serving those she loved.

Before the early dawn of day.
    when stars their vigil keep,
A voice called gently 'Come To Me'
    And mother fell asleep.
Within the group she loved so well
    They note the vacant chair,
Yet mother lives within their hearts
    Enshrined forever there.
