CHS Junior Winner in Declamation

Miss Deanna Bryson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul T. Bryson 614 Vine St. was chosen the winner in the Ross County finals of the Prince of Peace Declamation Contest held Sunday at St. John's E & R church.

Miss Bryson, 16, a junior at Chillicothe High School, received a sterling silver medal for her achievement and will participate in regional competition in Columbus in early January. She advanced to the county finals after being chosen over five other entries ina contest at her home church, Tabernacle Baptist.

Miss Janice Barth, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Barth, 458 W. Second St, the Trinity Methodist Church representative inthe county finals, will be the Ross County alternate in the regional contest.

Both spoke on "And Rumors of Wars."
