JOSEPH BADER

Joseph Bader, Hopetown died Saturday afternoon at his residence, death resulting from an attack of apoplexy, March 4. Mr. Bader was born July 31, 1849, in chillicothe, and has been a life ong resident of Ross County, He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are two children, Mrs. C. H. Mayhugh, Columbus; and Mrs. Seney West. Hopetown. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday at the residence, with Rev. Price officiating.

 


WILL OF ROBERT TURVELL

The will of Robert Turvell, late of Huntington township, just probated, leaves everything to his wife, Amanda A. for life to go at her death to the son, William on the following conditions; the son to take care of his mother at his home, if she desires to make her home with him, ifnot; allthe property shall be charged with her maintence and balance to go to all the children. The son, William, is named executor without bond.

    MRS. HYDELL HOSTESS

    Mrs. Clarence Hydell of North Hickory street was hostess to her bridge club Tuesday evening. After an interesting season of play at two prizes were awarded, to Miss Minnie Segal and Mrs. Arnold Wissler. A delicious salad course was served by the hostess.

    GET TOGETHER CLUB

    Get Together Club of the W. B. A. met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Harry Jones, North Sugar street, with 16 members and one quest, Mrs. E. R. Terry, president of the review present. Mrs. Olive Eiberts was assistant hostess.

    During the short business hour, it was decided to give prizes to the card winners in the games which follow the regular meetings.

    For the games following Tuesday nights business, Mrs. Carrie Sewards was successful in euchre and Mrs. Terry in bridge.

    Mrs. Ruth Sigler, Vine street, will have the club at her home in two weeks and Mrs. kathyrn Martin will assist in the entertainment.

     


    AFTERNOON CARD CLUB

    A table for quests was featrued when Mrs. Charles Ludwig Caldwell street, entertained members of her card Club, Tuesday afternoon, at her home. Guests were Mrs. John Wade, Mrs. Joseph Deschler, Mrs. Harry Coppel and Mrs. G. G. Kennett.

    In the games, Mrs. Frank Hurig and Mrs. F. Schreiner were prize winners among the members, while Mrs. kennett won the quest trophy.

    The club will meet again in two weeks by Mrs. John Hurff, Sugar Street.

     


    Mrs. E. Spetnagel of West Second left Tuesday to spend the week with her daughter Mrs. Allan McBeth of Dayton, while Mr. McBeth in on a business trip to Kingsport, Tennessee.
