DISMISSED THE CHARGES -- Charges of assault and battery preferred against Edward Towell Frankfort Farmer, by Wilbur McDowell, 16 year old farm hand, were dismissed after a hearing before Mayor Minshall Monday morning. Testimony introduced by the defense went to show that Towell hit the eye after the latter had tried to hit Towell's father with a club.

MRS. CALDWELL IS CONVALESCING -- Mrs. R. C. Caldwell of Bourneville who has been seriously ill with typhoid fever, has passed the crisis and is slowly convalescing. Her many friends will be pleased to hear this news. She is fortunate to have Miss Ethel Pratt of Columubs, a very fine trained nurse, in charge of her case.
