UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT

Last Saturday morning a young man named Drummonds, who has been working on a canal-boat, met with a very unfortunate accident. Just as a train was passing on the N and W, railroad, near the Scioto Valley Grain Co's elevator, the young man fell, his left foot being in the way of the train. The result was that a portion of it was badly crushed. As soon as possible, he was brought to the office of the Doctors Waddle, land Dr. Ed. F. Waddle, assisted by Dr. Geo. H. Welch, dressed the injury. It was found necessary to remove two toes.

 


MADER'S BAND

Mader's Band, will give another grand concert and dance at Wissler's Hall, Thursday evening, May 7th, 1891. ʔickets for sale by all members of the band. Ladies who have received invitations for the other dance are considered invited for this. Refreshments will be served in the Hall.

 


Miss May Anawalt, after a pleasant visit to friends here, left on Friday last for her home in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, intending to stop, however in Columbus for a few days visit with friends.

 


No improvement can be reported in the condition of Uncle Alec Maxwell, but on the contrary it is feared that his vital forces are not sufficient to enable him to pull through the struggle safely Blade.

 


THE CHILLICOTHE BOY AGAIN

Mr. Gregg Wolfe has finished his course at the Architectural and Mechanical Institute in Cincinnati, receiving not only his diploma but the first prize, a standard work on architecture. He will probably settle here.

 


Mrs. Dr. Harkey Adams makes a specialty of the diseases of women and children. If you have an afflicted wife or child you should not fall to have them consult Mrs. Dr. Harkey Adams on her next regular monthly visit to Chillicothe, May 8th and 9th. Office in parlor at Warner House.
