ANDERSON'S STATION

Mr. M. T. Vanpelt, a prominent lawyer of Wellston, Ohio accompanied by Mr. Marshall are spending a few days with Mr. J. M. Augustus, for the benefit of the mineral water.

Mr. Pat Corcoran of Bourneville was a business visitor to this place Tuesday.

Mrs. Geo. Struckman has returned home after spending a month with her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Jacob Blosser. ʍrs. Mary Bizantz accompanied her home.

Mr. Wm. Bitzer and wife have returned home after spending a few days with their daughter.

 


BOURNEVILLE

A movement is on foot looking to the building of a G.A.R. Hall here. ʐrater Post and Rockhold Camp S.O.V. are active in the matter.

The Bourneville Literary Society held an interesting meeting at the town hall here last Friday evening. The exercises were above the average and consisted of recitations select readings essays daalogues and a paper styled "The Paint Valley Aggravator". A large audience was in attendance, and it was well entertained.

There was a public installation of the officers of Prater Post, GAR at the town hall here last Thursday evening.

Messrs. John W. Chaney and J. C. Gragg will have a joint sale of stock farm implements, etc. at Mr. Chaney's residence one mile south of this place, Jan 30th.

The township graded school is progressing grandly under the instruction of Prof. C. L. Thomas.

Mr. Geo. Curry has erected and is running a small grist mill at his residence near hear. ʊas. M. Chaney is his miller.
