TAVERN ROBBED

On Saturday night the tavern of Mrs. Frantz, on Water street, was entered, and two trunks containing clothing and some money carried off. No clue to the thieves has yet been discovered. There is evidently a band of these scoundrels just now lurking in our midst, and it would be well for our citizens to be on the lookout, and in the event of a call from any of these gentry, be prepared to give them a proper reception.
