Membership to Society
The membership year begins July1st and ends June 30th. Membership includes four issues of the RCGS Newsletter
which is published in July, October, January and April. Membership in the Society entitles each member to a free Query in each Newsletter.
The Newsletter includes Society news, library accessions, old newspaper items, obits, Society publications for sale, and miscellaneious
genealogical items.

Membership to Lineage Societies
First Pioneers -
First Pioneers of Ross County is open to all members who can prove descent from one or more ancestors who lived in Ross County or
what was a part of Ross County before 1821. Fee is $30.00 at the time the completed application is turned in.
Settlers &
Builders - Settlers & Builders of Ross County is open to all members who can prove descent from one or more ancestors who
lived in Ross County before 1860. Fee is $30.00 at the time the completed application is turned in.
Civil War Families -Civil War Families of Ross County is open to all members who can prove their ancestor served in the Civil War, North or South, and
must have lived in Ross County before or after service date between April 12, 1861 and April 18, 1865. Fee is $30.00 at the time the
completed application is turned in.
Century Families - Century Families of Ross County is open to all members who can prove descent
from ancestors of the applicant who resided in Ross County between 01 January 1861 and 31 Dec 1915. Fee is $30.00 at the time the
completed application is turned in.
