Joseph Martin's estate
An Inventory of goods and chattels of Joseph I. Martin, late of Pike County in the State of Ohio deceased. As appraised by us, the subscribers being appraisers appointed by the Court of Common Plea in and for said County of Pike. Who after having meet at the late dwelling of said deceased, were severally sworn as the law directs a certificate of which is here unto annexed to wit. I, Robert Lucas, a Justice of the Peace within and for said county and State of Ohio, do hereby certify that Samuel Reed and Eli Sargent, who on this day severally sworn before me appraisers of the goods and chattels of Joseph I. Martin, late of the county aforesaid deceased. Given under my hand seal the 27th day of March 1822.

I, Samuel Reed, one of the Associate Judges of the Court of Common Pleas within and for the said County of Pike do hereby certify that Robert Lucas was this day sworn before me as one appraiser of the goods and chattels of Joseph I. We do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and accurate inventory of the goods and Chattels of Joseph I. Martin, late of Pike County deceased. As appraised by us, after setting off to the widow* such property, as we deemed sufficient for the support of herself and children for one year.
