WILLIAM O. CAMPBELL
William O. Campbell , 71, of 1983 Kylemore Drive, Xenia, died at 5:27 a.m. Sunday at his residence following an extended illness.
, 71, of 1983 Kylemore Drive, Xenia, died at 5:27 a.m. Sunday at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Campbell was a retired farmer, being well known in the Pike and Ross Counties area.
Born on May 19, 1902 in Pike County he was a son of James Jackson and Edna (Rinehart) Campbell.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen (Eagle) Campbell, whom he married in 1942; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Mendenhall, and Mrs. Howard (Mary) Mowrey, both of Xenia, and Mrs. Noel (Nancy) Gordon of Black Foot, Idaho; two sons, William O. Campbell Jr. of Xenia and Clarence (Jack) Campbell of Chillicothe; two stepsons, Robert Eagle of West Middleton and James Eagle of Xenia; 11grandchildren and one great-grandson; and two nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, with burial followed in the Springvalley Cemetery at Spring Valley. Friends called at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Mary E. Elliott
Mrs. James (Mary) Elliott, 84, died Friday in Davison, Michigan, where she had resided for the past two years with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Doris) Buckwheat.
84, died Friday in Davison, Michigan, where she had resided for the past two years with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Doris) Buckwheat. Funeral services were held at the Muir Funeral Home, Lapeer, Michigan, on Monday and burial was made in Lapear.
Born in Waverly, Mrs. Elliott was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Heibel and was the last member of her immediate family. Her husband also a former Waverly resident, passed away 20 years ago.
Surviving besides her daughter are nine grandchildren. She was the sister-in-law of Mrs. C. J. Heibel of S. Market Street.

Oscar P. Fisher
Oscar P. Fisher - Funeral services for Oscar P. Fisher, 88, of Route #8, Chillicothe, were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ware Funeral Home, with Rev. Glenroy Fisher officiating. Burial followed in Flora Hills Memorial Gardens, where a military service was conducted. Friends called at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Fisher died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Chillicothe Veterans Administration, following a six month illness.
He retied in 1954 as a carman for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
A native of Pike County, he was born on April 28, 1889 in Piketon, a son of James H. and Martha Treux Fisher.
On September 5, 1924 he married the former Florence Brofft, who died in April, 1958.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bost of Route #8 and Mrs. Mell (Betty) Anderson of Route #6, Chillicothe; two sons, Oscar Fisher Jr., of Route #8, and James Fisher of 3042 Brown Avenue, Chillicothe; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Francis Richter of Pataskala and Charles Richter of 390 Sunset Drive, Chillicothe, and a brother, Floyd Fisher of Route #4, Chillicothe.
Mr. Fisher was a World War I veteran, he was a member of the Hickory Street Church of Christ, Veterans of Foreigh Wars, Post 106 and American Legion Post 757.
He was redressed by two sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. Ferman Cutlip
Mrs. Ferman Cutlip. Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Mae Cutlip, 75, of Route #1, Piketon, in the Wakefield community, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wakefield Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Floyd Estep officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery in Piketon under the direction of the Howe Funeral Home there. Friends called at the funeral home from 2 to 4, and 6 until 9 p.m. Monday.
75, of Route #1, Piketon, in the Wakefield community, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wakefield Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Floyd Estep officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery in Piketon under the direction of the Howe Funeral Home there. Friends called at the funeral home from 2 to 4, and 6 until 9 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Cutlip was dead on arrival at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pike County Hospital. Death was attributed to an apparent hear attack, although she had bee in failing health recently.
She was a retired supervisor of the Pike County Hospital cafeteria.
A native of Pike County, she was born on March 21, 1902, the daughter of the late Jacob W. and Laura Ellen Donohoe Brand.
In 1918, she married Ferman Cutlip, who survives.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons, Walter Cutlip of Orlando, Florida and Maurice Cutlip of Dayton, two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Stewart of Columbus, and Mrs. Wilma Patrick of Route #1, Piketon; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. One grandson, Kenneth Cutlip, who she raised from infancy, now resides in Wheelersburg and one brother, Abe Brand of Springfield.
Mrs. Cutlip was a member of the Wakefield Free Will Baptist Church, and the Ladies Aid Society of that church, and a member of the Sargents Womens Society of Christian Service.
The family requested that donations be made to her Favorite Charity, the Wakefield Free Will Baptist Church.
