Ruth L Ramsey
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth L. Ramsey, 75, of Victory Drive, Waverly, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with the Rev. John H. Hoskins of St. Albans, West Virginia, officiating.
Ramsey died Sunday, July 6, at 11:06 p.m. at Pike Community Hospital. She was born in Borderland, Kentucky, February 3, 1911 to John and Jeanete Spaulding Tiller.
a homemaker, she married Harry Ramsey, Sr., who survives, on June aa, 1933. She was a member of the Simonton Lake Baptist Church in Elkhart, Indiana.
Other survivors include two sons, Harry Ramsey, Jr., of Waverly and John
F. Ramsey of Elkhart, Indiana; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Southland of Williamson, West Virginia and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John Tiller of New York City, New York and Frank Tiller of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Remine (Nell) Hoskins of Hurricane, West Virginia.
She was preceded by perarents, two brothers and a sister.
Interment will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Osceola, Indiana. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Calling hours are 5 - 8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) at Boyer Funeral Home.
