A funeral was conducted Sunday for Larry C. Curtis, 50, 305 N. Fifth Street, Waverly, who died Thursday morning after beining involved in a one-car accident on St. Rt. 104 near Jasper.

Director of the SCORESA state computer network at the Pike County Joint Vocational School.  Curtis is survived by his mother,
Mrs.  Francis Cooper White and his step-father Harry A. White, Bainbridge.  Three brothers, Garett, Fred and Monte White all of Bainbridge as do two sisters,
 Glenda Morris of Virginia and Sandra Young of Bainbridge.

Curtis was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of the Lions, 100F, american Legion Post 142 and Orient Lodge 321.

He was past president of the Pike County Board of Mental Retardation (169 Board) and a past treasurer of
Skyline Golf Course.

He attended the Waverly Church of Christ in Christian Union where the funeral was held at 2 p.m. sunday with Rev. Robert Trimble officiating.

Burial was in Waverly Evergreen Cemetery.  Graveside military rites will conducted by the Waverly American Legion Post `142.

Botkins Funeral Home handled arrangements.
