Josphine Lenox Boyer
Mrs. Josephine Lenox Boyer, 81, widow of the late John E. Boyer, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday 11 June 1946, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Harris, 375 Neil Avenue, Chillicothe, following several years' illness.
She was the mother of Arthur H. Boyer of Waverly, a local funeral director.
Born in Ross County on November 17, 1864, she was the daughter of James and Eva Hunt Lenox, residing for many years near the divide.

On January 9th, 1890, she married John Boyer, who died in 1933
.
Mrs. Boyer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and of the Sacred Heart Sodality in Chillicothe.
Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died, are another daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Blessing of Akron; three sons, Oscar H. of Columbus, Charles E. of Chillicothe Route 5, and Arthur H. of Waverly; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, P. A. Lenox of London, Ohio, and three sisters, Miss Effie Lenox of Chillicothe, Mrs. Clara Hunsberger of Endora, Kansas, and Mrs. Agatha Ibest of Lawrence, Kansas.

Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m. this morning (Thursday) from St. Mary's Church in Chillicothe, with Rev. Father Rapheal Rodgers officiating. Interment followed in Greenlawn Cemetery there.
Friends called at the daughter's residence in Chillicothe until time for the rites.
