Mrs. Beulah M. Yeager

     Mrs. Beulah M. Yeager, 83, of 312 Beverly Avenue, Waverly, died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday in the Pike County Hospital.  She had been in failing health for the past year.

     Born on July 23, 1889 in Northunberland County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Francis and Frances (Kersteter) Weikel.

    On September 12, 1912 she married Charles A. Yeager, who preceded her in death in 1962.

     Surviving are two sons, Carl E. Yeager at home, Francis L. Yeager of Middletown, Pa., one daughter, Mrs. Betty Strohecker of Herndon, Pa., eleven granchildren, and five great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Amelia Haupt of Gowen City, Pa.

     Mrs. Yeager was also predeceased by five brothers and four sisters.

    She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gowen City, Pa.

    Funeral services are scheduled to be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Arrow Funeral Home in Shamokin, Pa., with burial following in St. Paul's Cemetery here.

     Local arrangements were under the direction of the Boyer Funeral Home of Waverly.
