MRS. ELIZABETH KENGLE
     Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howe Co. Funeral Home, Piketon for Mrs. Elizabeth Farmer Kengle, 67, with Rev. Robert Card officiating. Burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe.
      Mrs. Kengle, who resided at 900 E. Main St., was found dead in her residence at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, by neighbors, who became alarmed when she failed to appear for several days. Mrs. Kengle was born May 18, 1900 in Guthrie, Ky., a daughter of Cude and Odine Shelton. Married twice, her first husband, Louis E. Farmer Sr., died in 1941. Her second husband, Paul Kengle, also preceded her in death in 1954.    Surviving are two sons, Louis E. Farmer Jr. of Jackson and Thomas F. Farmer of Greensboro, S. C.; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mackey of Allensville, Ky. and Mrs. Prentiss Lawrence of Olmstead, Ky.
     Mrs. Kengle, a practical nurse, was active in organizations in the Piketon area. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the First Baptist Church at Guthrie, Ky.

Added note: Louis Edward Farmer was b. 4 June 1899 in Allensville, Ky., to Thomas Farmer and Mary Campbell. Louis died 2 Feb 1942 Franklin Co., Ohio..
