Mrs. Edna Snyder

     Mrs. Edna Snyder, 64, wife of Wesley Snyder, of Waverly, Rt. 3, in Omega, died at 7:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, in Chillicothe Hospital where she was taken Monday.
     Mrs. Snyder was born in Pike County on February 10, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Manson Claytor.
     Surviving in addition to her husband, Wesley, are two sons, Clarence Snyder of West North Street, Waverly and Richard Snyder of Kenova, West Virginia; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Leatherwood and Mrs. Ruth Acord, both of Waverly, Route 3, and Mrs. Viola Bonner of East Rainelle, West Virginia; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ross Claytor of Waverly and Ray Claytor of Piketon.
     She was a member of the Waverly Church of Christ in Christian Union.
     Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the Omega Methodist Church with the Rev. Phyllis LeMaster and Rev. Donald Pfeifer officiating. Burial followed in Omega Cemetery under the direction of the A. H. Boyer Funeral Home of Waverly. Friends called at the Snyder residence Wednesday afternoon until the funeral hour.
