Mrs. Samuel Lloyd

Mrs. Margaret Lloyd, 80, of Rt. 2, Beaver, died early Wednesday morning in the Pike County Hospital where she has been a patient for the past month.

Born on September 5, 1889, she was a daughter of Columbus and Jennie (Lyons) Horton.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel Lloyd; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Cox, of Beaver, Mrs. Verna Remy of Ashville, Oh., and Mrs. Mary Owens of Rt. 2, Beaver; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Blakeman of Washington, C. H., Ohio.

Mrs. Lloyd was a member of Beaver Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hammerstein Funeral Home in Beaver with Rev. Frank Harding and Rev. Pearl Casto officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home from 2 until 9 p.m. Thursday.
